So many of you have come
up
to us after a show and
said, "which album is 'Thus
and Such' song on?" And
we have had to reply,"Well,
we just
started performing it
tonight, or last week, or we
haven't done it in years and
we no longer have a
recording of it, or there's a
version on this
album that
sounds nothing like what we just did."
Here is our solution. We will start putting up concert versions of new songs, full concerts and possibly even rehersal versions of songs (depending on how we think they are going) in MP3 format for your enjoyment. Please download them and play them. This way you can have the songs you want before we record them because this may take a while. In return, if you really like the song, or concert, feel free to pay what you think it is worth. A standard song price on iTunes is 99 cents. There is even a place to comment on the music if you'd like and we appreciate the feedback!
If you just want to enjoy the music, great, enjoy the music. Please pass the music on to your friends and get our name out there and get them to sign up on our mailing list and come to our shows, buy our CDs, etc.
This way we get to show off new material to you, our wonderful fans, you get to have the music that we are working on in your hands (or on your MP3 players) before we put out a new album and we all work together to make The Muses a household name.
